Why is Wright so angry with his Uncle Tom?
Wright is angry with Uncle Tom because Uncle Tom decides that Wright needs to be taught a lesson and this upsets Wright because Uncle Tom is like a stranger to Wright. He has had no part in his life. Uncle Tom didn’t raise him, Uncle Tom had no idea what he had been through so what gives him any right to beat him. That is basically what Richard thinks and I think just about anyone would feel that way, is some strange relative decided to beat them.
