Chapter 4-5

Why does Wright feel gratified after sharing his writing?
I think that Wright felt a sense of satisfaction that in a way by writing he created this little world of which the woman he read to could not grasp. As stated in the book “Her inability to grasp what I had done or was trying to do somehow gratified me.” I also feel that he probably felt a sense of accomplishment for having been able to write something, especially when I’m sure there were some who did not believe him to be capable even though many did know him to be very bright. But all the same I’m sure he felt gratification in having written something and then being able to share it with someone.

Hey daniel I agree with you on how Wright feels about his writings. He feels that he has finally acomplished something in his life that is positive. This writing is one of the most positive things that he has dealed with. Wright feels confident and saified with his writing that shows that he is becoming mature.
