Rob needs to grow up

Rob is obviously very conflicted about his relationship with Laura. How do you see this reflected in the events that led to his and Laura’s break-up? How is it reflected in the subsequent relationship with Marie? What do you think is going on with Rob? Why is he behaving this way?

I think that Rob is very immature and that he has some deep rooted issues with needing to feel loved. I think his relationship with laura was based solely on the fact that he didn't want to be alone. After he got bored with Laura he turned to Rosie because she was able to fill whatever empty spot he has tho it was false and didn't last very long. He says that Rosie was just what he needed to spice up laura. I feel that this means that he didn't really love or particularily care for either of them he only wanted laura after she lost interest in him and he didn't want her to go because he doesn't want to be alone. After laura was gone he still tries to get her back although you can tell he doesn't really want her, he just wants her to come back to him so he doesn't feel so rejected and bad about himself. He then goes off and sleeps with Marie probably again because he's lonely and wants someone to fill that empty space. After his night with Marie tho they both feel awkward and it seems that it had been a rather poor choice.
